A recent visit to Hampshire allowed us to make a visit to the Army Air Corps Headquarters at Middle Wallop.
Whilst here we made sure to visit the impressive and moving AAC Memorial which lists the names of serving AAC personnel who lost their lives whilst serving.
There are a number of sections inside the memorial, for various incarnations of the service including Royal Flying Corps, Glider service all the way up to the current Army Air Corps.
In addition, there are a number of other plaques and memorials to individuals placed along the walkway.
This was a humbling experience and it is a recommended stop, to remember and pay respect to fallen Army personnel.
