Another day/night photo shoot was arranged for February 2024, and preparations were made to allow all the Museum jet fighters to be photographed outside of the cramped HAS environment.
TimeLine Events organised this photo shoot, which attracted dozens of enthusiastic photographers from far and wide.
The aircraft were positioned in a realistic environment, free from barriers and other extraneous distractions, and some suitably attired re-enactors provided an added air of authenticity.
As the sun went down, the aircraft were lit to provide another dimension to the available photographic opportunities.
Food and other refreshments were provided to the hardy photographers, who didn’t seem to mind the cold February weather, but at least the rain had held off during the day.
After another re-position, the Phantom was put back inside the HAS for another set of photographs to be taken, culminating in moody atmospheric lighting and smoke machine aided scenes.
A great day was had by all the participants, and thanks go to the small band of Museum volunteers that turned out to help.
